Trigger Band

Print Frindly View
Description

TRIGGER is a 4 piece cover band playing party rock favourites from the 80’s – 2000’s and is fronted by the very talented Australian Idol finalist John Thewlis. With over 30 years of combined experience and a couple of Advanced diplomas in music between us, TRIGGER consists of musicians with a background in many music styles such as jazz, metal, country, punk, funk and rock.

Whether it be a small intimate crowd of 50 or a packed nightclub of 500+, TRIGGER can guarantee a high energy show with lots of crowd interaction and stage chemistry between the band members. With an average age of 28, we appeal to a wide range of age groups.

The Band:

Johnny

Johnny is TRIGGERS’s lead vocalist. With 8 years live singing experience, Johnny was a 2007 Australian Idol finalist and a top 10 finisher for Telstra’s “Road to Tamworth” series in 2008. His versatile voice is absolutely amazing and at 6ft 5”, his stage presence is huge. Johnny also has a diploma of music. Johnny has had a few original projects in the past and present and was also front man for corporate cover band “JOHNNY WOULD”. Being out front and interacting with the crowd while belting out the hottest cover hits is where he feels right at home.
