Description
They were brought together due to the increasing demand of the 80s revival and the fact that "80s MUSIC RULES!!". They even go as far as to use musical technology from the 80's with "Simmons" electronic drums "Steinberger" bass guitars, analogue "Roland" keyboards and all the sequencing gear to go with it!!
They take you back to when flares were out and shoulder pads and big hair was in. When the "yuppie" was born, "safe sex" replaced "free love", when we cried as an extra terrestrial "phoned home". Walkmans, "Fame", Donkey Kong, Acid Wash, "Live Aid", Rubik's cube and MTV. The time?.. The decade?.. The Eighties!!!!
Their repertoire is a mixed bag and stays within the 1980-1986 time frame (With one or two exceptions!), the time when the "New Romantic" phase was at it's peak worldwide with bands like : Duran Duran, Human League, ABC, Adam and the Ants, Flock of seagulls, Ah-Ha, Real Life, Prince, Dead or alive, Pseudo Echo, Wham, DePeche Mode, Soft Cell, Spandue Ballet and with 80s rock/pop acts such as The Cars, J Geiles band, The Romantics, Rick Springfield, Corey Hart, The Knack, The Vapors, Devo, INXS, Men Without hats, Kenny Logins, Lover Boy and Nik Kershaw.JKM7
This is but the tip of the ice burg, as we all know the list is endless!!
