Audio Demos
This act has 2 Demos for you to listen to.

Description

A  jazz ensemble  that provides a  smooth, sophisticated ambience

for any occasion.  We play in many  formats - anything  from a duo  through to a

quintet - and move  easily into  dance mode  when required. As  the name

suggests,  we draw inspiration  from the swing  era, inspired by great  singers like

Frank  Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat  Cole and MelTorme, along with  the great

songwriters like  Cole Porter,  George Gershwin,  Jerome Kern, Hoagy Carmichael,

Duke Ellington  and many  others. Other areas of  significant influence include

Latin music (greatly inspired by  Antonio Carlos Jobim), blues and funk  tunes, and

a few  waltzes and novelty tunes.

In the trio format

Swing Masters adds a

double bass to the

line up. This often

preferred format

allows for a very

gentle ambience, but

easily moves into a

livelier zone when

necessary.

From a tender ballad to a medium swing toe tapper right

through to lively dancing tunes, the addition of the double bass

allows for a very wide range of mood and style.

",,....we would  like to  express our  thanks and  that we  received many

compliments on our  choice of band. Not only because of the great music

that you played but  because people teft able to  dance or chat as they  saw
it  because the music,  tho' grat to  listen or dance to, was not  intrusive....."
